Actually the experience with github issue trackers has been positive, so there
are no plans to set up a separate bug tracker at this point in time.

Gentoo is a fine distribution, but there are currently no users or developers
on it, so I believe efforts to support it will need to come from new
contributors such as yourself. As already mentioned on this list we are
currently handling a number of distributions for the simulation codes. Most
notably Red Hat 5, Red Hat 6, Debian Stable and Ubuntu LTS.

Enabling testing and usage of various numerical frameworks in opm is being
worked on. I am afraid it is no holy grail though, it is hard to design for as
the current grid interface discussion illustrates.

Cheers,
Alf
