Zeffy tips are completely optional.
Zeffy makes it about as easy to tip or not.
Zeffy requires proof of 501c3 status.
I looked seriously at Zeffy for our local bike co-op, and liked it.
The co-op went with GiveButter because our Treasurer prefers it, and
in this realm, a happy Treasurer is more important than what I want.
Thanks and good health, Weogo

Hi Jonathan,
Just be aware, that the way Zeffy arranges to be “no-fee” to the organization
is to pass the fee on to the consumer instead.

Is that correct? I have no experience with them but the home page claims, at the bottom:
"Zeffy makes money exclusively from optional tips from your donors" and goes
into some detail below that.
"Zeffy relies entirely on optional tips from your donors. When making a payment on a
Zeffy form, your donors can choose to contribute to Zeffy or not. On average, 2 out of 3
donors leave us a tip. This is enough to cover all our costs and re-invest in the
development of Zeffy. Zeffy has been working with nonprofits for 7 years and, thanks to
this 100% free model, currently supports 100,000 organizations across North America."
"Donors are never forced to tip Zeffy. They can leave an optional tip if they want
to support Zeffy. If they don't, the nonprofit still keeps 100% of the money raised."
This is certainly counterintuitive - it sounds like they're eating the
credit-card processing fees and making it up from optional tips. Ric, do you
have experience which contradicts these home page claims?
