My recollection is that a main reason our non-profit opted not to go with Zeffy was that - at least at that time - some organizers felt that the payment interface was misleading to a point where people felt tricked into inadvertently leaving a large tip (9% I think). This was some years ago so the interface may have improved since then. And one could argue that if people actually read everything before submitting payment then that wouldn't be an issue. 🤷♀️ And it's hard to beat a service that genuinely offers the option to eat the processing fees! 🙃
