WebLogic is *definitely* less active than Orion when it comes to releases.
It just so happened that their latest release had better support for the
features I wished to work with than Orion does. The only reason I have
been so far disappointed with Orion is because "the word on the street" is
that Orion releases often, and always supports the latest releases of the
specs sooner than anyone else. They haven't been keeping up with what the
public's perception of them is. Given that, I know that isn't their
company motto or anything, plus they are growing/merging/whatever into a
bigger company right now. I would much rather work with Orion, as 1) it's
free for development use ($2500/seat for WL dev license), 2) it's faster
to deploy to than WL, and 3) it's easier to maintain than WL (at least
from my observations). Here's to hoping Evermind gets back on the
fast-releasin', spec-meetin' release schedule!
