This is created right after the image was created. So if you didn't change or
touch it, it is exactly what you had at deployment time. The only difference
to the deployment time is that systemconfigurator is invoked with other
options and a "<<EOF" input describing the network configuration. You can see
this in the /var/lib/systemimager/scripts/* autoinstallscript. Grep for
systemconfigurator...

I wouldn't expect the autoinstallscript to be broken.

Did you try reinstalling the node? Can you repeat the problem?
