In order to complete a little bit Jean's answer

First check if a ticket exists for OPKGs supported by your distro in order to
know if the config.xml file has been translated or not:
http://svn.oscar.openclustergroup.org/trac/oscar/report/12
Note that Jean took the time to create a ticket for each OPKG that is not
converted, this is convient and the way trac should be used.

Then a script exists to compile the OPKGs for your local distro. The
explanation is here:
http://svn.oscar.openclustergroup.org/trac/oscar/wiki/opkg_opkgc (on the
OPKGC wiki page, very simple to find).

Finally you can try to upload, a script opkg-upload exists for that (i think
this is not yet documented, mostly because still under testing) or put that
in the local /tftpboot/distro or /tftpboot/oscar (this solution is not yet
fully documented because it is only a work around which should not be used
any more in few weeks).

Jean and I are working on the repository for debian, i uploaded almost all
supported OPKGs afternoon; therefore the repository should be ready very
soon.
