Hi Eric,

Note that the dependencies problems come from the fact that packman is not 
installed (which is our tool to deal with dependencies, a mandatory package). 
In your log: "PackMan smart_install failed."

Packman is a pretty and obviously is support to be installed by default. You 
say you are using the nightly build, but is it for the branch-5.1, or trunk? 
If you run out of patience, please send us bug reports and will do our best 
to help you out.

Also note that if you are using trunk, i am currently the only one working on 
it, i am about to check-in a new bootstrap mechanism which, i hope, will 
simplify few points.

But again, we try to be reactive to help users, if you can tell us exactly 
what version of OSCAR you are using, your different tests will be valuable 
and we should be able to find solutions.
