Question - is the non-installation of nearly 50 required OSCAR packages a
known issue? This is in every build of OSCAR for FC8 that I have seen,
including the current 5.1 beta.
Things like php-pear, gcc, etc, simply do not get automatically installed.
Now that I'm more carefully parsing error messages and looking specifically
for missing packages, I have managed to get oscar installing on a FC8 laptop
and will start installing it on a dozen node cluster on Monday.
