Hi DongInn,
I'm extremely sorry, please accept my apologies, I didn't understood the
pbs_python problem you had until this morning. I though that your problem was
that the build system did not include the pbs_python.spec in the rpm directory,
but it's far more problematic than that: in fact, there are no traces of
pbs_python anywhere in any format excep on my ~/rpmbuild directory..... oups :)
So I've uploadeed the src.rpm and the tarball in the download directory and
I've put the spec file in the rpm directory of trunck/jobmonarch.
Note that for compatibility, the build requires are from centos-5, but they do
work on centos6 and fedora-17 (teted)
CentOS6 $ rpm -q --whatprovides libtorque-devel
torque-oscar-devel-4.1.4-1.x86_64
CentOS6 $ rpm -q --whatprovides python2-devel
python-devel-2.6.6-36.el6.x86_64
Fedora17 $ pm -q --whatprovides python2-devel
python-devel-2.7.3-7.2.fc17.x86_64
I saw that OpenSUSE and Fedora-18 are worked on as well, maybe this needs
testing.
So, you need to sync the
http://olivier.lahaye1.free.fr/OSCAR/download/pbs_python*
Cheers,
Olivier.

Objet : Re: [Oscar-devel] RE : RHEL6 X86_64 OSCAR package repository
Hi Olivier,
fedora 17 or 18 looks a lot different from the ones (fc-12 or fc-13) that I
used to use long time ago. I think I hit the issue of installing packman
because of the conflict between filesystem and packman package and I wonder if
this is related to the systemd package too?
Anyway, the downloads/ website is synched but I still could not build the
jobmonarch rpm.

Hi,
This is really a great pleasure to see people interrested in OSCAR again :-)
DongInn, I've worked on fedora-17-x86_64 port last WE and it is near to be
functional. Thanks to this, I4ve found and fixed a few set of oscar bugs. I've
even managed to build a recent systemimager (not yet tested unfortunately). I
gave a look at oscar-configurator and I've identified 2 or 3 things that needs
to be fixed (centos6 as well): grub2, systemd and NetworkManager).
It is available here:
http://olivier.lahaye1.free.fr/OSCAR/repos/unstable/fc-17-x86_64/
So far, I've been able to reach the build image step (but this needs tunning).
Once passed, I should be able to test the systemimager inird and kernel when
deploying a node.
I'm now working on systemimager build under centos-6 (priority). It builds, but
packaging fails because of makefile race conditions and bad include orders when
using CFLAGS variable, but I think I'm near a build success and hopefully a
working systemimager).
Best regards.
