I had Oscar 1.2 on on Red Hat 7.2 in a cluster of SPMs. I work with MPICH and LAM. I could not change the configuration of MPICH in OSCAR 1.2 because OSCAR did not install MPICH completely.
Some body know, if in OSCAR 1.4 or OSCAR 1.3 I can change the configuration of MPICH and LAM. OSCAR 1.2 does a standard configuration to MPICH, but this configuration is not optimal for a cluster of SMPSs (two processors in each node.) I am not sure, if OSCAR does the same with LAM. I want to know if OSCAR 1.3 or OSCAR 1.4 solve that problem. else can I install MPICH and LAM in the same directory that OSCAR 1.2 installed?.
