The LAM/MPI that has been included in OSCAR has always been SMP-aware.
There's also always been an SRPM for LAM.

What do you mean SMP-aware?
Do you have a literature about that configuration?  Can you send me?

If I use tarball to install either MPICH or LAM over instalations made by
OSCAR, have I to make changes in the configuration of OSCAR?

Where can I find the list of OSCAR's SRPM?
