Yes, although the RedHat pvm-gui distro v3.4.3 (xpvm) is still installed and appears to be ahead in the path. It appears that the xpvm source is provided by the OSCAR distro, but the binary is not compiled. Maybe this isn't a problem. I'm still curious about whether or not any distro RPMs that provide the same services/software as OSCAR should be removed manually or if they should be taken care of by the OSCAR installation.

So you are using the oscar packaged version of PVM (from ORNL) at the end of the day...correct? the 3.4.4+6 versioning number I believe. just dbl. checking, --tjn _________________________________________________________________________ Thomas Naughton [EMAIL PROTECTED] Research Associate (865) 576-4184 ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ Oscar-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/oscar-users
