Both the RedHat and OSCAR distros were installed. The RedHat executables
were first in the path, so that is what was run. I removed the RedHat
LAM/MPI and all tests pass with flying colors.

I checked for other RedHat RPMs that may conflict with the OSCAR distros and
that remained installed after the OSCAR installation completed and there are
several of them, such as PVM. Should these have been removed by the OSCAR
installation process? Should they be removed? My guess is yes.

After removing the RedHat LAM RPM I restored rsh (removed the link to ssh)
and lamboot is successful now.

Is there anything I should be concerned about with regard to running OSCAR
1.4 under RH 7.1? Any known problems that may arise down the road?

Chris
