Jeff:
Glad you're here.
I reinstalled the w hole thing --mdk8.2 and Oscar 1.3, a bit more cleanly.
However, the errors remain on teh PBS tests of MPICH, LAM-MPI and PVM.
When I do an rpm -q on mpich-oscar-module, it indicates that
mpich-oscar-module-1.2.4-2 is installed.
The pvmtest.err file gives me two copies (I have 2 nodes + master) of:
        /usr/spool/PBS/mom_priv/jobs/3.Grendel.SC: gcc: command not found
and then:
/usr/spool/PBS/mom_priv/jobs/3.Grendel.SC: ./master1: No such file or
directory
I have set PATH to include /opt/env-switcher-1.0.4/bin.
Any clues where to go from here? It seems REALLY close.
Marsha

Sorry I took so long to answer... :-\

The answers in your other mail look good. From above, this appears to be
an MPICH-specific problem (i.e., it's not MPICH's problem, per se, but it
is the module/switcher setup related to MPICH).

This looks like some %post's did not fire when installing the RPM's.
Hmm.

Did the mpich-oscar-module RPM get installed properly? Can you see if it
is installed?
