i dont have acces to the cluster ATM, but i am pretty sure they were 
deleted from the db correctly. judging from the logs, all that was missing 
was the removal from the c3.conf and the SIS hosts file (in 
/var/lib/systemimage/scripts).

ok - so you recommend turning the opkg off?
i dont remember enableing it (only learning about what it does as i go 
along), so perhaps its on by default.
if it is in such a bad shape, perhaps it should be off by default?

yes, i use the experimental set...
