> sswf (http://sswf.sourceforge.net) has/will have an as2 compiler
Apparently scripts in sswf are neither AS2 nor AS3 compatible. It was based on ECMAScript 3 and drafts of ECMAScript 4 but it has some specific things in it (like operators overloading!). http://sswf.sourceforge.net/ActionScript.html#grammar However the developper admits that not everything has been implemented: http://sswf.sourceforge.net/asc.html#howto It looks like it would be a great start for an AS3 compiler. PS: thanks for the links about Mozilla JS 2.0 specifications. I am well aware of them. I already started to investigate existing JScript.NET (mono, dotGNU) implementations -- I'd like just to find their grammar files! _______________________________________________ osflash mailing list [email protected] http://osflash.org/mailman/listinfo/osflash_osflash.org
