It is not describable to a clear thinking man to use ActionScriptX for any bigger project anymore. Because the langauge changed within 3 years 2 times. C hasn't changed a lot within the last 20 years and Java didn't (it got extended but the performance grew for older applications too, and code of older applications can be well integrated with code of newer ones). I appreciate a step to a web based scripting language that should be stable from both Nicolas and Macromedia. But with my expirience I have more trust in Nicolas...

I've tried to compile Mtasc one time for three days - I gave up and sweared never to touch Ocaml again. Arn't any others (more developer friendly) languages out there? as2api uses ruby and is quite fast (and has a rudimentary scriptreader already implemented).

NekoVM (or what name ever) will surly get full in my focus.
