Yes, .NET 1.1 is required. FlashDevelop is not trying to be Eclipse or Visual Studio, it is not a monolithic solution to all your editing needs, which is one of the reason why FD is light-weight and responsive.
I, too, miss some features such as XMLBuddy, java editting capability, Ant integration in Eclipse. I still have Eclipse installed in my computer, but I only run the 800-pound gorilla when I need to, rest, I am pretty content with FD for its better speed and intellisense. - Tangent -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Ralf Bokelberg Sent: Tuesday, December 27, 2005 5:09 PM To: Open Source Flash Mailing List Subject: Re: [osflash] FlashDevelop: Project build and -mx parameter Hi Philippe, > Well, it takes about 2 minutes to download, install & launch > FlashDevelop and 30 seconds to create your first project, or no time don't we need the .NET framework to run FlashDevelop?
