Uhm: XML and therefore XHTML is a format for data exchange. Wikis are Data provider.
The maximum functionality you need is search and edit and the design needs to fit
to the content. I can imagine nothing in flash that could replace mediawiki for wikipedia
and there is a reason for it.

Unless you provide all datas in XML form and just _display_ the pages in Flash (where, again,
i don't see any advance) to have some visual formatting that is high performant (and i mean like total response
time including startup, download and rendering smaller 1 second) and adds practical value
there is no reason for having a flash wiki.

Martin.

Not true with flash 9.

Honestly, its all in the design. To me, almost everything done with
HTML is more clunky than what is really possible.

To me, the emergence of HTML late 90's set us back 10 years in terms
of interface design. Flash and Flex2 allow for new creative
possibilities. I dont have any specific ideas about how to design a
wiki better. But better tools almost always unleash creative
possibilites not previously considered.

Hank
