I guess because nobody has done it yet, or at least not done it well.
Wallop is an all Flash social networking site, but a horrible example. It
would only serve as ammo against Flash, IMHO.

Subject: [osflash] Why Flash?

The other day, I was talking about social networking sites with a friend, I
defended Flash as the right solution claiming it has far more visual
capabilities than a site operating on CSS or HTML, His question in response
to my Flash bias left me stumped for an answer.

He said, "Most successful sites are done with a mix of Flash and HTML such
as YouTube, MySpace, etc. What successful networking sites have been
produced all in Flash, if any?"

I couldn't answer my friend's question, but from a historical standpoint,
this is a valid question and would be interesting to discuss. Any answers
out there?

Thanks.

PD
