I don't think MS will create an Expression-based version of Wallop. The
Wallop folks were recruiting 
Flash devs at the Austin Flash Forward Conference and threw a really nice
open bar party at SIX.
Crazier things have happened though...you never know what MS will do.

Yes, for those who might not know, wallop started in Microsoft Labs. 

So, another way to look at it...

MS is making a product which is often seen as a competitor to Flash (Blend).
MS makes a Flash-based social networking site that makes Flash look bad.

Hmmm... What are the chances we'll see a MS Expression-based social 
networking site that blows Wallop away?
