AS (action script) is nothing more than Javascript really. JS and AS both follow the EMCA coding specification and so share the same syntax and code constructs.. etc.
So, really any PHP/HTML/CSS/Javascript editor can be used for action script as well. You will have to set whatever editor you use to identify .as files as .js file and just use javascript highlighting etc... Of course I know this has nothing to do with debugging Action Script etc.. but really what Linux needs is a FLASH for Linux ( Flash CS 3 Professional for Linux ) Currently only windows... Cuz there is an AS editor inside Flash Editor... Personally I use Editors listed below: Kate - Supports a TON of languages.. fast light editor. Zend - FOr PHP, HTML, CSS There are many more others like...
