Just do simple: debug packages with debug binaries, and release packages with
release binaries (and so on for any custom configuration).
I totally agree, and that was my conclusion too.
Just a suggestion: is it possible to make an exception for realase, so that the "release"
name does not appear ("libopenscenegraph-2.8.0-win32-x86-vc80sp1.tgz" for instance)?
It might be nice, but it's ambiguous... I think I'd prefer to have
-release and -debug in all cases.
