We're working with several multi-touch device in our company, the most
simple just add an ID information to a click, in our side we add userData to
the events to get this data. Now it begins to be standardized with Windows
Seven, here you can find the data provided by a touch event :

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd562194(v=VS.85).aspx

You can see that it also provide the size of the contact. Another good API
is TUIO, where you can have more data, for exemple if it's a whole hand
impact with its direction.

I don't think we'll need other events, it is still just clicks, releases,
drags... I am not aware of any API providing directly "gesture" events
(zooming with 2 fingers for example), we're handling that in the application
side. It should be a second step in multi-touch handle to provide this kind
of events in the osgGA side, but the first step is still to just add some
more data into a classic mouse event.

Cheers,
