Hi Don,

I've been working with OSG for about 6 years now, always from a stable
release. You've now succeeded in pulling me over to the dark side and the
latest svn/trunk to look at the osgQt library.

Hehehe... Don't worry, it's not as scary as it may seem. I've actually been doing both in parallel for as long as I've been at CM Labs... We ship our SDK with stable releases of OSG only, but I work with the SVN version daily so that we find and fix problems as early as possible.

osgQt is in its infancy, but I have high hopes that it will grow to be a good integration between OSG and Qt. Have a look at the examples too, specifically osgViewerQt, osgViewerQtContext, osgViewerQtWidget and osgQtBrowser. I anticipate a consolidation there in the near future, but your comments would be welcome.

I'll grab J-S's work as soon as he thinks it's a wrap.

Actually, if you can follow the thread I started today, and (if you have time) try out the code I posted, that would be a great help. You seem to have needs in that area so your comments would help drive the effort. If not, at least comment on what I've said and write about where you'd like the effort to go and what you'd like to do with it, that way I can keep it in mind as I go.

Thanks,

J-S
