Hi Kristofer, Right now all submission give credit via the commit message, it's been this way since the very earliest days of the OSG. github might not pick up on this but the attribution is there. It'd be nice to have a means of github picking up on this, perhaps we can do this via a script at some stage.
In a recent thread hear on osg-submissions I outlined my current methodology for reviewing submissions and why the git way of merging pull request wasn't yet good enough to replace this. It may be in future I can come up with a new approach that combines the best strengths of both approaches. For now though I'm sticking with reviewing complete code submissions that I have honed in on as being the most reliable approach for reviewing submissions. With submissions my priority is improving the code quality of the core OSG, all the rest of the niceties that one might desire come second to this, including convinience. Robert.
