Then again, adding the paths doesn't force anything. If the files are
there, fine, it'll find them, but if the users have another policy (I
simply install the redist package, for instance), the added paths
won't change anything (except from hitting the max path length maybe?)
So if your installer is the "officially sanctioned Win32 OSG
installer" I can see the OSG adding those paths by default, so the
dependencies work out of the box when installing with your installer.
My 0.02$ (worth a bit more than 2 cents US right now! :-)
