Great news. The OpenFlight export feature has some inefficiencies still, but all crashes reported to me have now been fixed, so I'm comfortable calling this 2.4, then I'll fix the inefficiencies later. Go for it. -Paul
_____ From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Robert Osfield Sent: Tuesday, April 15, 2008 5:32 AM To: OpenSceneGraph Users Subject: [osg-users] Going for OpenSceneGraph-2.4 within the next two weeks Hi All, I would like to make the OpenSceneGraph-2.4 stable release in the coming two weeks, for this I need your help in testing the build and runtime across platforms. In support of this I'll up the rate at which dev releases go out. Today I'll tag 2.3.8, and make 2.3.9 towards the end of this week. If things look good we could go for making 2.4 end of this week or early next week. Issues outstanding that I'm aware of are: 1) libcurl plugin in Windows 3rd party dependencies (dynamic vs static libs, vista vs xp issues) and support in Cmake side. 2) Annexing the Xcode project directory, replacing it by updated CMake support. If you can think of anything else please speak up. I'm looking for show stoppers, and not feature requests, once 2.4 is out the door then we can talk about future feature sets. Robert.
