Hi Cedric, At present I'm not sure what should be done, too. Maybe it's something like the Morpher or FFD modifier in 3dsmax, but performing in real-time rendering. I'm goint to study what other 3D graphics APIs have done for modeling and animating of scene. I believe OSG exceed them in the near future. :)
I'll do some preparation work in the next few weeks, and try to use EaseMotion or Sampler to finish a example. Also I would read your project and plan to support an interface. osgAnimation is a really excellent work.
