I have been banned from Windows by my wife, it just makes me too grumpy. So it's best for everyone, Windows users included, that I leave Windows to those who appreciate it.
OK, keep away from Windows then, we need you in your usual cheerful mood. And thank your wife. :-)
OSX is a unix, so under the hood it well meaning, and it's fancy desktop is equally elegant and irritating. It's like like a City to me, nice place to go for a visit no and then, but I wouldn't want to live there day in day out.
Then again nothing beats hands-on testing when a user reports a bug (and this holds for Windows and OSX)... Some bugs can be reproduced and fixed by other contributors, but some are too deep-down... Threading issues come to mind...
The hardware is all mine, putting together the new hardware combination is a little free time hobby project that just so happens to benefit work too.
Cool, I have fun doing the same thing from time to time (but my budget and time allow it less now...)
