In my experience, auto compute of near/far seems to not deal with ortho projections too well. Does the problem go away if you switch to perspective? Does the problem go away if you disable near/far auto compute?

As I rotate the model about the origin various Geodes vanish and reappear ( not being simply clipped, they pop-in and out) despite turning culling off in the camera. This is not a backfacing polygon issue as the Geodes vanish when not facing directly towards or away from the camera and they are closed geometries. If I disable my code and revert to a standard osg:: manipulator , the problem disappears. I suppose I am doing things behind osg's back that it does not like - but what? Thank you!
