Thanks for the testing. Good to know we are on the right track.

I don't recall any changes to osgShadow between OSG-2.8.0 and
OSG-2.8.2-rc2 so my guess is that this issues are there in OSG-2.8.0
and before but just revealed themselves in different ways.

Would it be possible to double check these apps against OSG-2.8.0 and
OSG-svn/trunk just to see if there is anything different there.

In terms of resolving these issues, perhaps contributors to osgShadow
can step forward and have a play.  My own focus over the next 6 weeks
will have to be OSG-2.10 and VPB-1.0 so I won't be able to chase every
problem that might arise in the OSG-2.8.2-rc series.
