Change submitted. Let me know if it works for you, I tested this fix
some time ago, but hadn't really good test case because my DBs are not
well conditioned for ViewBounds and I don't use this mode very often.

That's great. I've switched to DrawBounds and it works better, though we still have shadow clipping for tall objects behind the view point. But it's better than it was.

I actually implemented Trapezoidal before LispSM long time ago . But it
was not made as ViewDependentTechnique and I have recently ported it to
work as one. But some issues remain and I don't see that I will be able
to fix them soon.

That's a shame, I'd like to help, maybe we can coordinate offline. I'll contact you if I have some spare time.

That's fine, I totally understand. I hope you can improve the situation soon, having too much on your stack and not being able to pop stuff off is a terrible feeling.
