All of the code is committed now and compiling without errors, but I'm
getting a lockup on Windows that I'm trying to track down.

I'd be interested to see if you can use a command like the following
(might have something to do with my version of OSG or depends):

osgpangoviewer --bevel "<span font='verdana bold 200px'>Hello
World</span>"

...use a nice big font. :)
