Hi, Just uploaded 2.8.4 and investigating the use of shaders to build some edge blending code. Tried example osgshaderterrain and got the following error at runtime
bin]# ./osgshaderterrain Creating terrain...done. glLinkProgram "" FAILED Program "" infolog: Vertex info ----------- (16) : error C3004: function "texture2D" not supported in this profile Warning: detected OpenGL error 'invalid enumerant' after RenderBin::draw(,) So went back to 2.8.3 and tried that example -- same results. GLSL linking problem? Missing dependency? Any suggestions where to look for the problem. Rather new at this shading stuff so please excuse if the error is obvious to more seasoned developers. ...
