I will try to report this to them. How do you submit bug reports to
Nvidia, btw? By sending mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I understand this quite well, however please keep in mind that this bug:

1) Is in the drivers at least since March 06 or so when I first tested
OSG with my (then) new SLI system.

2) Nvidia releases new Linux drivers every 6 months only and the next
release will be probably in February '07 or so (8774 was released in
August). There may or may not be a new driver this months, but that's
just speculation.

3) Only OSG/Producer seem to be affected - everything else seems to be
working fine for me, even games in Linux. Strictly speaking, it is most
likely Nvidia's bug however if only OSG has a problem with SLI systems I
am not sure how much they will be willing to address it. SLI on Linux
doesn't seem to be their highest priority - not everything is supported
yet and the stability is not the best neither.

However, I will defer this decision to Don and you. I just want to be
able to use OSG on the machine I bought for that purpose.

No, that is not what I meant - I do not want to override the install
directory, I would like make install (or installdbg) to install also the
debug version of the libs. This doesn't seem to be possible at the moment.

Regards,

Jan
