Qt 3.2 I believe. The modifications at
first were to get the nodes to display, these nodes being generated off another
class that is a hacked up version of the solar system example, osgplanets. Actually,
at first I couldn’t get anything to display correctly, loadedModel or
anything. Then, after I got the display up correctly, I started trying to deal
with the controls, I may have gone about things in a backwards manner and may
need to move the added functions into SimpleViewerQT rather than
GraphicsWindowQT, I will try that first. And maybe it is a problem with QT
GLWidget, I am going to check that out, as well.
Thanks,
-John

Hi John,
Could it be that you aren't setting up the QT GLWidget to recieve mouse and
keyboard events?
I find it surprising that you need to modify so much osg osgsipleviewerqt3, you
should have all the controls you need. Everything works fine for me without
any mods. What version of QT are you using?
Robert.

I split those classes from osgsimpleviewerqt3.cpp into
different header and .cpp files. Then I added a lot of things to
graphicswindowqt, which are from the constructor of qosgwidget (this was
necessary to display the 3D nodes), and added the request redraw functions and
others. I was having a similar problem when I was using qosgwidget with
control, remember, but now it is not allowing me any movement control. Before
it was just not stopping the camera before it went to the center of the scene.
I'm not sure what to do now. If anybody has any thoughts let me know, please.
Thanks,
-John

Hi John,
I developed osgsipleviewerqt3 under linux and it works just fine, the trackball
manipulator it sets up work just as it does in osgviewer.
What mods did you make to osgsimpleviewerQT3?
Robert.

I hacked

cameramanipulators using osgsimpleviewerqt3 with linux?
Thanks,

Hi John,
Could you try the osgsimpleviewerGLUT and Producer versions?
They all have the same basic core, the only difference is the graphics
window set up and event handling.
Robert.
