Hi Robert, I've been really busy for the past two weeks or so, but hope to get some more CMake stuff done this week.
As for the 2.0 release schedule, Apple's WWDC (developer conference) starts June 11th. This is going to put enormous strain on me and probably other Mac developers that are attending as we need to prepare for it. Personally, targeting the end of June would be much nicer on my schedule. But if that can't be done, I would say the deadline cannot be allowed to slip past June 8th because we won't be able to work on an OSG release on the road and at the conference. If you look at our CMake wiki, there's still a lot of items on the TODO list so with the early deadline, I think a lot of those things are not going to make 2.0. One item in particular is static library building. I'm not convinced it works right because I think the library link order is wrong. (Jacob and I originally were fairly careful, but all that code has since been rewritten and put into macros so I'm not sure if it's going to work right.) But we need testers to actually find out. Thanks, Eric _______________________________________________ osg-users mailing list [email protected] http://openscenegraph.net/mailman/listinfo/osg-users http://www.openscenegraph.org/
