Simply move your custom vector map out and in as needed. There are no real restriction in Osmand, as soon as the map is found in the correct folder, it will be accessible. Perhaps easier solution would be to move the data folder to internal memory (if you have enough space there) and do the copying of your maps in two steps - once, to the SDCard, and then in phone move it from there to the internal storage folder.
