Hi, I'm encountering the same problems. I tried to create a long motorbike round trip through the black forest (about 500 km). I wanted to use specific roads, visit specific POIs.
First try was to use a PC program named kurviger.de, which is a program to create routes for motorbikes, allowing export to many kinds of files, including GPX route, track, or waypoints. Loading it into OSMAND lead to turn instructions about every 500 meters … Then I tried to create the route in OSMAND+. By the way, thanks to Bart for his great videos!! Problem: I had to set about 25 waypoints. This lead to a looong time zooming in and out to set them, difficult on the small screen even with a pen (Note4). After the route was created, I found that OSMAND had made a routing error near the start. And since you can't insert an intermediate waypoint, I had to start all over again. Third try was to set the first intermediate waypoint, let OSMAND create the route, check it for errors, set the next way point, let it create the route, check it ... This took hours, and even drained a full battery completely. And at the end, I found the same routing error again, although it only occurred after setting the last intermediate point! And if you save the route to GPX and load it again later, you still have the "turn" problems after loading a GPX file … Second problem: There was a road closed due to road works. So you follow the deviation (in this case about 20 km), and OSMAND bombards you with "turn back" instructions the whole time. And a funny thing occurred several times: "New route found, distance 328 km, time 1 (!) minute". So I'd like several new features: It shouldn't be difficult to stop those "turn right" or "turn left" instructions, after all, OSMAND knows there are no roads to turn to. There should be a possibility to set an intermediate waypoint (say "after waypoint 5" or "before waypoint 6") while creating a route. Or you should have a list of your waypoints with the possibility to order them as necessary. There should be a button to "cancel next waypoint" if you encounter a closed road (with a waypoint on it) or if you recognize too late that OSMAND has made another routing error. Any chance?
