While I can see this app is powerful, crammed full of bells and whistles, many of which have names which are not at all intuitive, my attempted use of it for bicycling purposes has produced many emotionally adverse moments. :( I'm now using v, 4.1.11, and for the life of me I cannot find the setting to turn auto center on or off. The instructions here appear to be for an older version. I often need to move the screen away from where I am at the moment, and the fact that it keeps moving back to where the GPS says I am drives me up the wall. Help?
Beyond that, I thought I had found the way to have a button onscreen to toggle auto center on and off, so that I don't have to remember how to find it any more, but apparently I failed. I don't know what the button is doing now. (Note to Osmand: I truly hate icons. In the app, they are rarely self-explanatory. If I can create a toggle button, how about letting me control what appears? "AC" would be a much better label for me than anything else.) If anyone knows if there is a proper way to create an onscreen toggle button to switch the auto center feature on and off, would you please post it?
