Yep, already tried, as indicated, doesn't appear to work.  Map keeps 
re-centering on current location, whether I want it to or not.  Also a 
little odd that Osmand would use the term "autocenter" in some places, but 
then "Display position always in center" elsewhere, which serves only to 
confuse the user.  Well, at least this one.
