Hi all, I have some great problems in figuring out what the latest ossxmix patches are supposed to do. Could somebody explain the logic?
Anyway I have updated the hg version so that SNDCTL_MIX_EXTINFO.update_counter for groups (MIXT_DEVROOT and MIXT_GROUP) gives the total number of "leaf" controls contained by the group and its child groups. In this way update_counter==0 indicates that the group is empty (for the time being). So it's no longer necessary to compute this information in ossxmix.
