Without passing judgment on what a Windows administrator should and
shouldn't be able to do I would I would submit that the average OSSEC user
would not be reliant on a GUI interface.

If you have managed to get a linux box up and installed packages to compile
OSSEC I wouldn't think not have a GUI on the Windows box should be a huge
deal as long as OSSEC continues to behave like a windows app in other ways
(running as a windows service, installing and uninstalling cleanly).

Also the Windows Agent Installation section of the docs
(http://ossec-docs.readthedocs.org/en/latest/manual/installation/installatio
n-windows.html ) it is blank so you would need to give more guidance on how
to configure the OSSEC agent.

Please keep in mind the time and effort spent by the volunteers working on
OSSEC.
