Ron, you certainly can use my posting in your class. Please tell your students
that I really don't mean to come off as a harsh critic of my colleagues, (I
myself benefitted from a sign on bonus and my choice of many jobs to choose from
in 1993), but I do believe WE are the root of our own problems as a profession.
We can't entirely blame our abstract philosophical base, managed care or any
other outside force when it was our own complacency thru the decades that got us
here.
