Points to Ponder, again! 1. We really don't re-work the dead horse, it just keeps coming back to haunt us ;-) 2. We do treat the 'whole person', we just don't do the 'whole treatment' 3. While other professions are 'exercising' the expansion of their scopes, we cannot stay self 'occupied' in our holes 4. We do have a role to play on every health stage but, must recognize how we fit the act 5. Debates are good, d- bites are bad.....:-) 6. The less I knew about OT, I felt the more I practised it.....the more I practised, I felt the less I knew about it 7. My arguments are not to negate my opponents, but an effort to assert my own beliefs 8. While brevity in my posts are hard to find, I believe the concept of OT much like life is not multiple-choice based and does not pose a single answer 9. History is made not by those who accept the present, but those that control the future- are we in control of our profession's future? 10. We must recognize, accept, challenge and excel in a competitive environment. Evolution occurs either through 'acquired traits' per Lamark, or per Darwinism- it is "the survival of the fittest"......Our biggest competition is within us, do we think we are the "fittest"?
Just my '10' cents - in the stock market (so probably worth one) :-) Joe ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ron Carson" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Dr. Estelle Breines" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday, August 04, 2003 8:58 PM Subject: Re: [OTlist] what is OT? > Hello Estelle: > > Do you do spinal manipulation??? :-) > > ============================================= > > On 8/4/2003,[EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > > DEB> Ron, It is clear to me that you advocate for the continued debate > DEB> of this topic.
