No disrespect to doctors but from my experience they seem to be oblivious
to a lot of things that go on around them at times. So no, its not a
surprise.
Have a good one! ![]()

Today, I met with a PT who seems to be a great advocate for the
occupational perspective that I have. He is foreign trained and
says
that what I am talking about is what he was used to in Europe
(sorry, I
don't remember which country). The PT's name is Jerone.
Jerone, was introducing me to doctors at his office. After the
first
doctor looks at my brochure and business card, she asks me 'so,
you're a
PT'. I say, 'no, I'm and OT'. She say's "Is there a difference?"
Then
she say's "oh, that's right, you have to be a PT in order to be an
OT."
About this time, Jerone jumped in an offered an explanation for the
differences between the two professions.
Can you believe that doctors actually think that OT and PT are the
same!
Ron
