Thanks Ron. It's great to have a roll call. I hope everyone responds. I've often wondered who is out there. Do my posts ring any bells? So often they just die with one response, if any. No real discussion. I'm 71, started practice when I was 52. I have kept my licence thanks to the fact that we can claim relevant volunteer hours for currency. I do a very small amount of casual relief in this region of Alberta, Canada, consult to a training program for psych OTs, co facilitate a support group for caregivers and am president elect of the Allen Cognitive Network. That's the formal OT part of my life. I'm also grandmother to ten children, caregiver for a mildly disabled husband (who also cares for me) and the desire to be a lover of life. I've recently become more aware that because of imbalance I don't have a positive sense of occupational well-being and that is dragging me down. I really want to know what people know about, like about, hate about neuroplasticity. If a discussion develops, I'll join in. I sometimes think perhaps my long opinionated posts deaden discussion. Blessings, Joan
