For several years I was the lone Canadian member of the network, in fact when I was elected last year as president elect to assume office this year I was still the only Canadian member. I heard about the network from the Australian member who remembered me from advanced training in Pasadena in the early 90s. I had been 'out of the loop' during the Allen Conference days. Things are looking up in Canada – This year there are five presentations and one poster with Canadian involvement in the symposium program. I will no longer be the only Canadian in the group.
