owserver. After this rigmarole is done and "owdir -s localhost" works

I observe this on a Pi running Jessie.

NB, the client is fairly aggressive (it's polling two motion sensors
which are behind different legs of a DS2409 hub), and I do this by
queuing multiple requests onto a single persistent TCP connection; I'm
fairly sure nobody else does that. :-P

I plan to rewrite this mess on occasion of further deploying MoaT
thingies in my home, but that is going to take a bit of time, as playing
with 1wire doesn't feed me.
